The Backstreet Boys residency in Vegas will make the 15 year old you swoon (spoilers inside)
OMG they're back againnnn (but really, they never left).
If you know me, you know I LOVE the Backstreet Boys. Like, really love them. I've been a fan since I was 11 or so (20 years and counting...haha) and seen them in concerts too many times that I've lost count!
The top selling boyband of all time, the Backstreet Boys have landed a residency in Las Vegas this year. For select dates in March, April and June they will be singing the hits in the AXIS in Planet Hollywood. The show features 20 songs (full set list at the end of this article) that will have fans singing along to their classics from a variety of albums.
In my opinion, the BEST part of this show is the fact that you can pay to MEET the band. The Boys are allowing a select number of fans purchase a "VIP Upgrade" for each show. With this $500 purchase, you'll get access to a VIP lounge, a couple free drinks, photo booth options and....a solo picture with BSB. While the price tag may seem steep, it's really not expensive compared to the other Vegas acts (Britney Spears charges $1,500 and there is only one of her).

I've had multiple pictures with the Boys, but I must say this has been my favorite of them all ;) While you can't spend too much time with the band, there is enough time to hug each one and at least get some sort of a statement out to them. I managed to tell Kevin and Nick about Backstreet Bootcamp, and they loved hearing that fans were getting healthy!
After the concert I headed to the Pit, which is a general admission section of the concert. I was on the Left Side that evening, right near the catwalk. I was lucky to have been in AXIS to see Britney Spears a few years back, so I had a good idea of how the stage was going to be set up.
The Boys did a great job of using the stage and interacting with the crowd. There really isn't a bad seat in the house...especially compared to huge stadiums that they used to play in the 2000's.
My favorite unscripted part? Joey Fatone (yes, from NSYNC) was in the crowd and AJ brought him on stage during Shape Of My Heart. BSB serenaded them and....let's just say there was some real passion between Nick and Joey (see video below).
Below are some of my videos and photos from the concert. Hope you enjoy!
