80 Day Obsession: Week 1 Results


In case you missed it, I was asked to be a part of an exclusive Test Group to try out a brand-new workout program called 80 Day Obsession.

For the next 80 days I will be following a program that is being developed by Beachbody right NOW, and sharing my thoughts and results with you, and the Beachbody Production Team.

WEEK 1 RECAP

What a week! I will admit that this weekend was a challenge for me because my best friend was visiting from out of town from Friday - Sunday AM (her trip was planned from before I knew about the Test Group).

However I stuck to no booze and did my best to stick to container portions while eating out from Friday afternoon to Sunday AM.

This program isn’t easy to do while eating out. Period. There are a LOT of temptations and food is my weakness, hands down. I’ll do a workout every day but you put a bowl of guac and chips in front of me and I will eat it aimlessness until it’s empty.

Overall, I’m feeling great. When I started on Monday I was coming out of an indulgent week (meals out and booze), so this past 7 days were a total detox:

⭕️ Core leaning out

⭕️ Face not as swollen

⭕️ Clearer skin

⭕️ Sleeping better

⭕️ Stronger legs

I have a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with the scale so I’m going to weight in when I’m asked to. I bought a scale for this Test Group but it’s under my bed because I don’t want to get obsessed with what it says.

Overall I’m super excited we are one week down and now planning out new (and more exciting) meals for week 2.
