80 Day Obsession: Week 12 Results


12 weeks of consistency.

Back in July when I was asked to be a part of the 80 Day Obsession Test Group, 3 months seemed like a freaking LONG TIME. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to commit to something for sooooo long. And honestly it was because I had only ever once did a program for that long, and I didn’t stick to the meal plan 100%.

This has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, mentally and physically. But I’m really PROUD of how far I’ve pushed myself and that I’ve kept going. There have been a lot of sacrifices, but I’ve loved the changes that I’ve seen from my body thus far.

The final week of Phase 3 included six workout days, and with each move we did 15 reps of the move, and then repeated it (15x2). I find that I like the 15x2 format best because it goes by pretty quickly.

I haven't stepped on the scale in a couple weeks, because I felt like I was getting too attached to the number. So I'm holding out for the final day to report back my final numbers. I'm pretty sure I've lost anywhere from 11-12 pounds, and at least 7 inches from my body.

Bumble Date Workout

On Sunday AM I had a new friend take on my workout with me - Nate. We meet via Bumble and he was visiting Dallas from Chicago. We decided to meet up for a workout and he joined me for the Phase 3, Booty workout.

It was a blast doing this workout with another person in the room. Mainly, so we could both complain about the moves and compare notes on the weights we were using. I know men aren't always into actively working their booty, so I think it was an educational experience for him that you can get your sweat on and work your butt! Ha.

Final week: PEAK WEEK. We are mixing up the workouts, and I’m going on a carb-cycle meal plan to see how those muscles can POP. Wish me luck!!!
