80 Day Obsession: Sample Meal Plan
Social media has been blowing up for MONTHS with everyone clamoring for more information about Autumn Calabrese’s fitness and nutrition program 80 Day Obsession.
I was lucky enough to be hand-picked by Autumn herself as part of the Coach Test Group in 2017. Spoiler alert: THE PROGRAM WORKS WONDERS!!! For 13 weeks I followed the fitness calendar and timed nutrition plan, and it changed my body.
I've gotten a LOT of questions about what the nutrition plan is like....
What is timed nutrition?
Autumn has created a program that tells you what to eat, when to eat. There are approved foods lists, and specific instructions of what types of foods to eat before and after your workout (for example: eat a protein, healthy fat and veggie an hour before you workout). The meal pairings are spelled out clearly, and then you must eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day.
Was it a lot of meal prep?
In my opinion, yes. Before being a part of the Test Group, I was used to meal prepping for the majority of the work week but I would eat out on the weekends. I committed to 80 Day Obsession 100% and that meant meal prepping as much as possible.
It’s not impossible to do – I’ve found that repeating a lot of the same meals (same lunches on MWF, etc) can help a lot.
Are the containers the same as the 21 Day Fix?
Yes. You will still have colored containers to help portion out your foods. The approved foods list is different than the 21 Day Fix though (no approved chocolate or wine).

Were you ever hungry?
Honestly, no! I think a common misconception about following these programs is that you are on a “diet” and not eating a lot of food. This program is the exact opposite; I was fueling my body with healthy foods
Can I drink alcohol as part of the meal plan?
No, alcohol is not a part of the approved foods list.
What did you eat in a typical day?
My go-to foods each week included ground turkey, baked chicken, eggs, Greek yogurt, Shakeology, overnight oats, sweet potatoes, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, broccoli, spinach, carrots, green beans and avocado. I’d mix it up here and there, but those were my staples.
Are there cheat days?
There are no “cheat days” with the 80 Day Obsession meal plan. The program was designed to get you “obsessed” with your nutrition and fitness to see real changes to your body.
