80 Day Obsession: Week 2 results
The second week is definitely easier to complete than the first. I'm now two week into this 80 Day (or 13 week) program. Here's my results so far:
80 Day Obsession - Week 2 results
Starting weight Wk 2: 172.5
End of Week 2: 170.6
Weight loss: 1.9 lbs
Total program weight loss: 4.4 lbs
*I'm 5'10" and 33 years old*
Food was the STRUGGLE BUS (I'd give myself a C)
This week I struggled with giving myself my treat meals too early in the week. I mentioned in one of my last blog posts that I was going to do this program with a modified meal plan this time around.
On Tuesday night Jordan and I went out to dinner at Bonefish Grill (one of my personal favorites). All portion control went out the window....we had Bang Bang Shrimp, full entrees and dessert. I did skip cocktails (which I'm proud of), but it was easily double the portions/calories that I needed to have during dinner.
Wednesday was Halloween, and I over-indulged in Halloween candy. I grew up LOVING candy (total sweet tooth), and let's just say the fact that I had candy at my fingertips then lead to me eating candy like I was a child that was given free-reign of whatever she wanted. I paid the price the next day...in a sugar coma and sluggish beyond relief.
I went into the weekend knowing I couldn't indulge in any cheat meals (ugh) so I had to be very mindful of what I was eating and drinking over the weekend. I didn't have any alcohol this week and stuck to lean proteins and minimal carbs when we ate out.
Workout game: B-
The 80 Day Obsession workouts went better in WK 2 than in WK 1. I think it's because I knew what to expect, and planned ahead this week.
I have been waking up earlier and doing my workouts at home, because I've found it's a great way to kick off the day. Plus, the ab workouts on the sliders work much better on the carpet in my exercise room at home than in the gym at work.
Friday's Leg Day routine ended up dragging to be Friday and Saturday, so I skipped the Saturday workout all together. I don't want to fret over it...it's in the past and this week I'm going to try to do better.
On to Week 3! Meals are prepped for the first half of the week, so I'm excited to keep this trend going.
